Elizabeth Barreto Ortiz was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2010 at the School of Fine Arts and Design in Puerto Rico. Barreto is an illustrator, muralist, educator and a passionate artist. As an artist, her main focuses are nature, femininity, the dissidence of ideas in contexts of colonization and the contradictions faced in daily life. For now she is happily illustrating and living in the city of Tenochtitlán.
